What is Nuevos Horizontes?

Nuevos Horizontes is a Spanish-language radio program and educational outreach initiative supported by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  The purpose of this radio program is to provide critical information and educational orientation to the Latino immigrant population  in the United States, and those audiences interested in learning more about emerging Latino issues and improving their Spanish language listening skills.

Nuevos Horizontes provides interviews on current topics of interest as well as informative sections related to health and Latino culture. Also, Nuevos Horizontes helps to improve the quality of life of Latino community by conducting different outreach activities that address essential needs for this community. Read testimonies
