I am a migrant Identification and Recruitment specialist for the State of Missouri and I like to be able to provide information to my families on a wide-range of topics. Your discs are great because while there is a wealth of printed extension material, the illiteracy which many migrant families suffer makes more non-intimidating forms of these materials, like your CDs much more useful. During school district parent meetings, I provide these discs for my families as well as provide them to migrant families that I identify.

It has been several months since I started listening and sharing New Horizons radio programs with our local Hispanic community. I must say, that I am impressed by the professionalism and leadership New Horizons portrays in each of the radio programs. I believe that the information provided by these radio programs is a key factor for the development of our Hispanic community in United States of America .
In addition, I would like to comment about the New Horizons staff members who have shown tremendous interest in the growth and education of the Hispanic community in United States of America . Overall, I encourage all the local community leaders to share New Horizons radio programs among the Hispanic population. I strongly believe that a well-informed community will translate into a more productive community. I look forward to listening to more New Horizons radio programs .

New Horizons adopts a new approach to educate and entertain the latin audience providing tools to make easier the transition to a new culture. The radio program reaches an audience who in most of the cases has a limited knowledge of the english language or who prefers to communicate in Spanish. New Horizons offers the Hispanic radio-listener valuable information about a variety of important topics to the Latino community, who could not access it other way.

Currently I am the program coordinator of "Servicios Comunitarios de La Voz Latina," which is a non-profit agency located in Rockford , Illinois . I have been receiving the New Horizons radio programs and I have extremely enjoyed them because their content is serious, instructive, interesting, and innovative. One of the things that I like the most is that the programs cover topics related to our Latin American region and its social process of development. The radiowomen are highly professional and precise in their use of the Spanish language which is not often seen in other programs that either lack content or professionalism.

My students and I like using Nuevos Horizontes in class because the material is always current and authentic; it's ideal for building listening skills and preparing for the AP exam.
